Experienced Management Team

Our buyers benefit from a strong and experienced senior management team, which averages more than 20 years of experience in the homebuilding industry. Shawn Tokanel has been active in the homebuilding industry for 12 years and is our Chief Operating Officer and President. In addition to our seasoned senior management team, we have an outstanding group of division presidents who manage our individual markets. Each division president brings substantial industry knowledge and vast local market expertise, with an average of 20 years of experience in residential construction.

Shawn Tokanel – President, Chief Operating Officer

  • Active leader in homebuilding industry for more than 12 years in various roles and capacities.  He oversaw operations for large regional builders over the last 7 years.
  • Served as North Carolina Regional Manager for Bank of America's residential construction group.
  • Earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Carolina.

 

John Hayes- Vice President Atlanta Division

  • Second generation builder.
  • Over twenty years experience in homebuilding, land development and multi-family construction.
  • Expertise with some of the nation’s largest homebuilders.
  • Graduate of Woodward Academy and of Abilene Christian University.
  • Father of four children and actively involved in their sport activities.
  • Deacon at his local church.

 

John Zunker – Augusta - Division President

  • Over 20 years of experience in the homebuilding industry.
  • Worked with some of the largest national builders throughout his career.
  •  A wealth of experience in division operations, construction, sales and marketing
  • Graduate of Texas State University with a degree in Finance.

 

Steve Sasso – Phoenix  Division President

  • Serving over 24 years in the homebuilding industry in Arizona.
  • Served as Division President 15 of the last 24 years with national and private homebuilders.
  • Launched Wilson Parker Homes in Phoenix, Arizona.
  • Graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Business Administration from Azusa Pacific University & Construction Management Program Graduate from Cal Poly Tech.
  • Married over 24 years with 3 wonderful children.
  • Have served the local community as a Board member and Chair for Private High School & a member of a local church.

 

Scott Sokoloski – Division President – Raleigh

  • Over 20 years of experience in the homebuilding industry.
  • Diverse experience in homebuilding including owning his own company, managing sales and operations for regional and national homebuilding companies.
  • Highly motivated to provide top notch customer service and unprecedented homebuilding quality.
  • Involved in various church and community organizations.

 

Hope Palmer- Director Warranty All Divisions

  • Leader of Warranty Services over the last 14 years for some of the largest regional builders.
  • Graduate of East Tennessee State University.
  • Was in the legal field in Atlanta for 23 years.
